The Children's Ministry is in need of a volunteer to come in weekly and assist the Children's pastor with phone calls, data entry, pamphlet making, DVD/CD burning, photocopying, organizing and cleaning.
To support the Children's Pastor by assisting with weekly jobs that are integral to the success of the ministry.
Skills
The Office Assistant must be able to
Photocopying, Phone calls, Data entry, DVD/CD burning, Organizing and some light cleaning.
TIME COMMITMENT – Although you may choose the frequency to which you serve, ideally the minimum would be once every other week.
Purpose: To provide a creative, refreshing, adventure-based, spiritually charged environment for children, youth, and adults.
We will accomplish this through:
* Nature's beauty experienced in a beautiful setting
* Developing all season structures in the western theme. For example: western town, and Indian village
* Providing natural recreation, horseback riding, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, etc.
* Individual and team sports challenges. For example: military rope course, paintball and archery.
* Relationship building. For example: barn socials, picnics, retreats, seminars
To lead congregation in worship by using gifting with vocals or instruments.
Varied musical skills for vocals or instruments from beginner to advanced, and
ability to work well with others.
3 month trial: At this time a discussion will take place to answer questions like:
Further Commitments: Every second week – 4.5 hrs. service time plus additional personal rehearsal time.
*Note:Commitment times vary according to skill level. Any skill level is acceptable for rehearsals but needs to be developed to a specific level in order to be used for services and events.

To use musical arrangement skills to resource the music ministry
To develop chord charts that are needed for particular songs in order to provide needed resources for the music ministry
An understanding of musical arrangement to the degree of being able to listen to music and arrange accurate chord charts for the band to use when doing a new song.

The Food ministry has a need for a volunteer who can help organize volunteers and their roles, keep the team informed of upcoming events and help with organizing quarterly team building socials.
To share the love of God with people through one of the basic needs that all people share, the need for nourishment.
Organizational skills and basic computer skills are an asset.
Chef Shaun would love to have a volunteer come alongside him and help out with organizing and coordinating volunteers, helping to enlist new volunteers and help with keeping the team aware of upcoming events. As well he would love some help with organizing quarterly team building socials.
TIME COMMITMENT – Ideally a couple of hours a week, but this could vary depending on the number of people interested in this position.
The Food ministry has a need for a volunteer who can help with shopping for groceries.
To share the love of God with people through one of the basic needs that all people share, the need for nourishment.
May be asked to create a shopping list based on Chef Shaun's needs. Will most often be asked to shop for groceries from a list that has been prepared in advance.
It is the responsibility of the shopper to take a list that has been prepared or agreed upon between the Chef and the shopper and purchase the groceries on budget and on time.
TIME COMMITMENT – This will vary dependent on upcoming events etc.
The Food ministry has a need for a volunteer who can help with serving food during special events or help prepare trays of food for Sunday Morning at Volunteer Central.

Food serving experience is an asset, but not necessary.
During Special Events at People's, Food servers will be required to fill the tables with food and keep a keen eye on the chafing dishes to ensure that they are being refilled at the appropriate times.
TIME COMMITMENT – This will vary dependent on upcoming events etc.
The Food ministry has a need for a volunteer who can help with food preparation for special events.
To share the love of God with people through one of the basic needs that all people share, the need for nourishment.
Experience in the kitchen is necessary, although some training is available.
Before special events at People's Church, the food prep team meets to plan when and how to prepare their dishes and how much time each person can commit. Then they will execute that plan preparing the dishes with care and quality.
TIME COMMITMENT – This will vary dependent on upcoming events etc.
Providing Food services for those in need in our Church and Community.
The primary goal of our team is to support the goals of our church through practical support to families in the area of meal preparation. We strive to enhance the experience of our families in need by presenting a helping hand.
You need to be able to put together a meal or part of a meal.
The responsibility of this area is to be "Jesus' Hands and Feet". Practically meeting the food needs of families going through a tough time. Also, providing for the funeral luncheons.
