Man Up

At People’s, Men are sure to enjoy our Practical Messages, each Sunday.   But there’s so much more for men and dad’s to get involved with:

We would encourage Men to Lead their Families in Faith, by setting an example of commitment to getting involved in church life.   This may mean actively choosing to participate in other weekly programs.  It could mean joining their own CR Men’s group or

playing Mixed Volleyball on Monday Night,  or helping when needed with their Sr. Teenager on Tuesday;  or attending a Small Group on Wednesday;  or playing Floorhockey on Thursday;  or helping when needed with their Gr. 1-5 child on a Fun Friday Night; or Saturday Morning Sports N’ Shenanigans. Or joining in our Saturday Ice-hockey team.

Men, Leading Yourself or Leading in Faith for your Family, could mean taking in the many Leadership Classes we offer:  The Chick-fil-a John Maxwell Simulcast; or the Fall Leadership Summit;  or the Winter Financial Stewardship Seminar;  or Marriage Enhancer Seminar.

Men, Leading Yourself, or Leading in Faith for your Family could mean signing up your family for a Family Mission Trip;  or going on a Mission Trip yourself;  or helping at Children’s or Junior or Senior Camp;  or taking Your Family Camping to People’s Kiskatnaw May Long Camp Out.

Leading in Faith for your Family could mean making a commitment to raise your children to love God and others, thru our Child Dedication Ceremony;  or encouraging Baptism within your family;  or having regular Faith Talks and Walks with your family.

This year, we hope to plan a couple of Men Specific Events.
