Yesterday we talked about there being a cost to a relationally rich life! In today's Scripture we will find two ladies confronted with paying that cost.

"now I appeal to you Euodia and Syntyche , please, because you belong to the Lord, settle your disagreement. And I ask my true partner to help these two women for they worked hard with me telling others the good news. They worked along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers whose names are written in the book of life."

Philippians 4:2-3 NLT

Here we have two ladies that were preachers with Paul on missionary travels. They have obviously had a major fallout with one another. This happens because we are strong thinkers and feelers! These two very strong people are disconnected from one another, even after sharing such deep and adventurous parts of life together! I guess the message is, it can happen to anybody. Never be surprised that relationships can shatter. Always be thankful when they're stronger than you think and can recover from the shattering!

"Safe relationships are centred and grounded in forgiveness. When you have a friend with the ability to forgive you for hurting her or letting her down, something deeply spiritual occurs in the transaction between you two. You actually experience a glimpse of the deepest nature of God himself."

So think about this: What opportunity do these two ladies have? So do YOU!
